Adult Mood & Anxiety Treatment Programs

Residential, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Individual Therapy Services for Women and Men (Ages 18 and Older) at Insight.

Insight Behavioral Health Centers recognizes that seeking mental health treatment can be a confusing and uncertain process. Our promise to patients, families, and providers of care is that they will be supported and educated throughout the entire treatment process, from the very first phone call to the point of discharge. From our Clinical Assessment team to our clinical staff to our billing department, Insight’s staff is trained to respond thoughtfully and sensitively to create a helpful, healing environment that meets each person’s unique recovery needs. At each level of mood and anxiety care, individuals work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team onsite, including physicians, psychiatrists, licensed therapists, and certified movement and art therapists.

Recognizing that there is no single way to cure the complex emotional issues that lie at the heart of mood and anxiety disorders, Insight programming is rooted in customized treatment plans and a variety of care levels. Treatment at Insight begins with a thorough assessment, during which a Master’s-level therapist from the Clinical Assessment team consults with the patient, as well as outside professionals or family members (when appropriate). Following this assessment, Insight will recommend the program and level of care that addresses each patient’s unique needs and challenges. Information from the assessment is used to create a personalized treatment plan that acknowledges not only the primary diagnosis, but also any co-occurring behavioral health issues. Upon completion of treatment at Insight, patients are given tools, resources, and support to protect and maintain their recovery progress.

Insight’s adult treatment for mood and anxiety disorders adopts a Mindfulness-Based perspective, which uses behavioral interventions to address symptoms while simultaneously seeking to understand the underlying meaning and function of behaviors. Mindfulness-Based interventions are congruent across Insight programming, creating a common language from which to approach treatment.  Examples of Mindfulness-Based treatment utilized at Insight include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Eating disorder treatment and compulsive overating recovery programs are available through our partnership with Eating Recovery Center.
