Is Insight appropriate for me if I have been diagnosed with more than one illness?

Can I start treatment at Insight if I have an active eating disorder?

We commonly get calls from individuals struggling with eating disorders, including:

  • Binge Eating Disorder

  • Compulsive Overeating
  • Other Eating Disorders 

Patients with active eating disorder symptoms can receive treatment with our partner facility Eating Recovery Center.  If you feel like you are struggling with an eating disorder, the clinicians in our Admissions Department can help you learn more about our eating disorder treatment options. How long does treatment at Insight last?

The length of stay in treatment varies depending on each patient’s diagnoses and unique recovery needs. Our Partial Hospitalization Programming typically lasts 20 to 45 days. Our Intensive Outpatient Program typically lasts for 8 to 10 weeks for 3 to 5 days per week. 
Once you have completed a comprehensive assessment with a member of our team, we can outline a likely recovery path for you. This may help you better understand our treatment recommendations and what to expect from the recovery journey. 
Regardless of the recommended length of stay, Insight’s insurance specialists will champion for patients to be able to leverage the fullest extent of their mental health benefits.

How much does treatment cost at Insight?

The cost for treatment depends on the services provided. Our admissions process involves a benefits verification, so please have your insurance information available if you are interested in learning more about the cost of treatment for you. 
During this process, an Insight specialist will contact your insurance company to receive pre-certification and will educate you about your coverage and other financial obligations related to treatment. Please note that this is not a guarantee of reimbursement by your insurance company. However, our insurance specialists are skilled in advocating for appropriate coverage and work tirelessly on behalf of our patients and families.

Will my insurance cover the treatment that I need?

Insurance coverage varies for individuals according to their health plans. We have a team of skilled professionals who specialize in insurance benefits verification, authorization and communication of available benefits to patients and families. Our team of experts are generally very successful in securing insurance coverage to support the cost of treatment. 
Because individualized treatment plans are created according to each patient’s clinical need, you are encouraged to explore all financial options for treatment in the event that your treatment needs are greater than what is allowed by your insurance companies.
