Linda Lewaniak, LCSW, CAADC
Regional Managing Clinical Director
Nationally recognized addiction treatment expert Linda Lewaniak, LCSW, CAADC joined Insight in March 2016. A widely-respected therapist and administrator, Lewaniak brings over 25 years of experience in the treatment of substance abuse and comorbid mental illness. Formerly as Program Director of Integrated Services, Lewaniak was responsible for integration of Addiction Services across all programs and levels of care to most effectively treat the co-occurring diagnosis of substance abuse. In her current role as Regional Managing Clinical Director, Linda leverages her extensive clinical and operational background and oversees the delivery of evidence-based, cutting edge treatment at Insight’s Chicagoland treatment centers and provides clinical supervision to the multidisciplinary treatment team. Lewaniak also collaborates closely with Eating Recovery Center’s senior clinical leadership across all 25 facilities nationwide to ensure holistic integration of addiction treatment, and provides substance abuse education, training and development for mental health professionals, educators and community resources.
Chassity Angeny–Showalter, Psy.D.
Chassity Angeny-Showalter, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience working in the fields of eating disorders and substance use at multiple levels of care. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Elon University, and earned her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Angeny-Showalter previously worked as a psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, developing and implementing an outpatient program for adults with eating disorders. Most recently, Dr. Angeny-Showalter served as the Clinical Director at Aspire Wellness Center, an eating disorder partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program for adolescents and adults. Dr. Angeny-Showalter is passionate about helping people achieve a balanced, meaningful, and sustainable life through improving their relationship with food and their bodies.
Cindy Brom, MBA- Regional Managing Director of Operations CO/WA/CA
Cindy came to the Eating Recovery Center family through our Chicago partner program, Insight Behavioral Health Centers, which she joined in 2008. At Insight she served in various roles involving operations, compliance, consulting, human resources, business development and financial management. Cindy has been involved with operations management of Eating Recovery Center Washington since January of 2017 as well as serves in a national food management role for all ERC sites.
Cindy earned her MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and BSB from the University of Minnesota. Her experience also includes business development management for an acute care residential and inpatient substance abuse facility in Chicago, practice management for primary care and psychiatric group practices affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and strategic consulting for growing businesses.
